Q) When will Guild members be able to access this information?
A) Select members will begin testing the system the end of August so it's very important that you get information into the system as soon as possible. The system will be available to the entire Guild membership in mid September.
Q) Can anybody access The eLearning Guild's Online Buyer's Guide?
A) The guide is not open to the general public; the guide is only available to the 52,242 eLearning professionals who have joined The eLearning Guild. For information on Guild member demographics, see this page. For information on joining the Guild, see this page.
Q) Is this really free for vendors? Are you going to charge for special placement?
A) Yes, it's really free, we plan to keep it that way, and we will not offer special placement to any organization.
Q) I've seen stuff like this before and the information about my company is either wrong, outdated, or both. What's to prevent this from happening.
A) It is the vendor's responsibility to maintain the information about his/her organization. So as long as you keep things up to date, the information will be correct and timely. Indeed, you can log into your profile 24/7 and the updates you make will be reflected immediately.
Q) How long will it take to complete my organization's profile?
A) It depends on how many tools, products, and/or services your organization has to offer. For example, if your company offers one or two services it will only take you five to ten minutes to complete your profile. If your company sells 20 tools, it may take 30 minutes to complete
